Previously undeveloped, the new Taumeasina Island offers a luxury resort for international guests. The design aims to minimise impact on the existing island’s topography, creating a harmonious link with the island’s natural beauty. Designs for inhabited areas of the island have been raised to cater for this. Building heights are limited to two storeys to reduce their dominance on the landscape. Part of the island’s redevelopment will also see the rejuvenation of open green spaces.

The development features a mix of hotel suites and private villa accommodation, as well as conference, retail and restaurant precincts, a water sports pavilion, wedding venue and bar.
