A master plan that establishes physical connections and pathways directly to tertiary education Open spaces are improved as a foundation for future development
St Columba Anglican School was founded with the idea that students in its region should be able to access education of the same quality as those in metropolitan areas. The school offers not only exceptional teaching and learning experiences but also a co-curricular program of similar quality to the very best schools in the state.
With focus areas of excellence, effectiveness and enterprise, St Columba promotes itself by offering its students a world of opportunities.
The master plan report collates the development of the master plan and is inclusive of key sketches, an educational model, consultative outcomes, a demographic analysis and a visualisation.
The master plan was created in response to data collected from workshops that were conducted on-site with staff, students and parents. In addition, an online survey sought wider feedback. These sessions, exercises and survey findings enabled us to establish a sense of their ‘lived experience’ efficiently without any bias and creates a human-centred strategic vision for the future of St Columba Anglican School.
The master plan seeks to enable strategic investment in new future-focused learning environments within both new and existing buildings, but critically in the landscape with the design outcome seeking to increase the open spaces for students.
