Crystalbrook Collection’s new Cairns resort delivers a new level of luxury.

A five-star renovation of an iconic hotel on the Cairns foreshore has brought new life into the luxury hotel market of Far North Queensland. The resort’s original design was developed by ThomsonAdsett. Overall works included a complete renovation of over 250 existing luxury suites, plus the addition of a 13-storey, 55-room tower, which is now a Cairns icon.

Riley’s signature hotel amenities include a 1,000 square metre swimming lagoon with its own man-made beach, a boutique day spa and three new restaurants, including one on top of the tower with panoramic views of Cairns and its tropical surrounds.

The design criteria for this project was to mix beach-themed interiors in a tropical esplanade location. The foyer of the hotel has been designed to reflect the beauty of the location without interrupting the direct views to the esplanade foreshore.

This project is environmentally responsive and reflects the unique qualities of the Cairns foreshore to visitors and locals alike.
