PMGH, as the centrepiece of the Health Vision 2050, is a state-of-the-art full service teaching hospital and the centre for excellence in health care provision in PNG.

ThomsonAdsett was engaged by the Port Moresby General Hospital board to prepare a master plan for the hospital’s redevelopment in Papua New Guinea (PNG).

The master plan was developed in response to the clinical services plan which identified a significant increase in required bed numbers, with a particular need for women’s and
children’s facilities.

ThomsonAdsett reviewed the existing assets, preparing a schedule of accommodation based on the clinical services plan and a corresponding redevelopment proposal across a range
of costed strategic options.
