The Multipurpose Service (MPS) model of care is specifically designed for regional and remote communities to provide coordinated delivery of health and aged care services.

The MPS project at Coolah focused on the construction of additional residential aged care beds in two new wings and also internal reconfiguration of inpatient beds to improve functionality. It included the relocation of 10 off-site beds to the Multipurpose Service. Additionally, a general practitioner’s clinic has been located in the former administration area.

The design takes advantage of extensive views over the “valley of the winds”, providing residents with a pleasant and inviting home.
