The design for the new senior campus building provides functional and flexible spaces, both internally and externally. On this tight urban site, the design enhances connectivity and safety across the school, along with active recreational and outdoor learning spaces.

The new five-level building plus basement located on the northern edge of the site provides general learning areas, multimedia facilities, staff rooms, a special education space, music rooms, a rooftop terrace, a lecture theatre, a student wellbeing space and recreation area to accommodate 300 students and 19 staff.

These spaces are oriented around a flexible series of outdoor spaces that look back over the school. Contextually, the building actively addresses the key aspect of the corner of The Corso and Endeavour Boulevard.

Other key design elements include the greatest possible flexibility with operable walls between spaces, a mixture of flat floor and lecture theatre spaces, and increased covered outdoor spaces. The Level 5 terrace and the lecture theatre are connected to enable functions to be held in this signature space. Quality materials and finishes enhance the civic and educational nature of the facility while also providing suitable long-term maintenance and operational functionality.

A new pedestrian link bridge connects the new building with the existing campus.
