Our design for MontroseAccess Respite Centre provides therapy, respite and recreation spaces to children and young adults with physical disabilities.
The centre creates a sense of community by combining public spaces with facilities and linking indoor and outdoor living.
The solution evolved through a collaborative user-group process and thorough research of existing practices.
Our design balances acoustics and comfort through cross ventilation and natural light, to provide sustainable and relaxing spaces for patients and staff.
