Katharina has practised as an architect for over 20 years and is experienced in a broad range of project types, complexities and scales across new builds and refurbishment/heritage projects.

Katharina has significant experience in leading health projects and was critically involved as co-lead for the The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, and for Campbelltown Hospital redevelopment – Stage 2, as façade stream lead.

Katharina led her own practice in Austria for 10 years and has delivered projects in Austria and Australia. Taking projects from inception to completion, she is skilled in client liaison, project management and leading large teams.

Using strong, holistic concepts to guide the planning and building process, Katharina aligns innovative design concepts and financial feasibility with client and stakeholder expectations. As project and team leader, she puts emphasis on good communication and creating a healthy work environment for all parties. She strives to uphold efficiency and accountability and deliver outstanding architecture.

Katharina has a keen interest in urban design and undertakes continuous professional development within and outside the architectural industry. She is committed to mentoring others and has contributed to several publications on topics including sustainability and infrastructure.
