ThomsonAdsett has designed the new Japara Belrose – Japara Healthcare’s new flagship 104-bed aged care facility located 17 kilometres from the city on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

The phenomenal site slopes to the East, looking towards the ocean over the Northern Beaches bushland. ThomsonAdsett has designed many of the rooms to capitalise on these beautiful views.

During the course of the design, the project team has had to overcome bushfires, traffic, threatened species and importantly local resident concerns. In December 2017, ThomsonAdsett received approval to construct the project, after an appeal to the Land and Environment Court.

The site works began recently in December and the project will be completed in 2022. We look forward to continuing our work with Japara to deliver this exciting project.
