Rylstone Multipurpose Service

This redevelopment will serve the Rylstone community for many years to come.

The Multipurpose Service (MPS) model of care is specifically designed for regional and remote communities to provide coordinated delivery of health and aged care services.

The MPS project at Rylstone converted the existing hospital to a Multipurpose Service, and included new residential aged care rooms, a reconfigured acute area, an extension to Health One (primary and community health care services), and an expanded reception area.

Refurbishments to the aged care communal areas now provide a softer residential feel.
