The overall design aesthetic draws on natural materials, soft curves and a pastel palette which speaks to the external architecture, the coastal locality.

ThomsonAdsett’s involvement in Esperance Hope Island Retirement Village has continued over 3 stages and 5 years of work. Through this process strong relationships have formed between all parties involved. The client and funders, Greenfort Capital and Reside Communities and the managing building contractor FDC.

The community spaces include spacious dining and bar areas for individuals and groups alike to enjoy, a VIP function room with a feature wine wall, a high-tech cinema, library lounge, gym and pilates studio and a 10 metre lap pool to create a luxury living environment.

This design story carries through to each individual apartment which features generous kitchens, living spaces and bedrooms, bespoke joinery and lighting details, and ample storage for the modern downsizer. The design of each apartment is oriented to the external views to create strong inside-out connectivity and to capitalise on the waterfront location.
