The new $10 million redevelopment will reinvent the club into a state-of-the-art facility
In 2019, ThomsonAdsett’s Interiors team was engaged to provide interior design and documentation services for the new clubhouse at Reside Communities’ Pacific Golf Club in Brisbane.
The new $10 million redevelopment will reinvent the club’s former 1960s clubhouse into a state-of-the-art facility which will house a 250+ seat dining and bar area accompanied by a large commercial kitchen, a business lounge, function and conference rooms, a putt-putt zone, a golf simulator space, a new pro-shop retail area and members-only facilities.
The interiors approach looks at creating a new, reinvigorated club while paying homage to the club’s 1960s roots to create a place that draws in the wider public and new members, while remaining familiar to existing members. The palette features various local timbers, shades of green and brass accents mixed with vintage wall murals and plaid patterning which ties back to the 1960s golf era and traditional fashion attire.
The spaces have been carefully designed to easily transition from day-through-to-evening trade to accommodate a variety of activities.
