The redevelopment turned unusable swampland into a state-of-the-art FIFAcertified soccer ground and multipurpose pavilion to meet the needs of the area’s thriving soccer clubs and community.

ThomsonAdsett was engaged to design and deliver a community pavilion and soccer fields at Painted Hills Recreation Reserve. We provided complete architectural and interiors services, including master planning.

This project was delivered with an early works package (car parking and base civil works for sports fields), while the main building works consisted of the completion of the synthetic turf and natural turf soccer pitches (by SportENG) and the pavilion.

This project involved construction of a community pavilion and soccer fields including:

  • pavilion and community meeting space
  • soccer pitch – natural turf
  • soccer pitch – synthetic turf
  • field lighting
  • fencing
  • coaches boxes
  • car parking
