An eclectic, steam-punk-themed barbershop with old-school charm.

Frenchville Sports Club’s Barbershop x Bottleshop was overhauled as part of the Club’s overall refurbishment plan.

The interior concept was driven by an old-meets-new theme, with elements of an old, Victorian-style Barbershop fused with an edgy steam-punk look. The outcome is an unexpected, eclectic and theatrical space that uses a variety of textures, colours and fixtures to create points of interest throughout.

Timber, exposed bricks and bespoke metal pipework used for the lighting and shelving give the interiors an industrial feel, while the rich moody palette and old-school chairs introduce some old-world charm.

ThomsonAdsett also set the décor and visual merchandising direction which were key to creating a strong, unified theme throughout.
